Dental Implants

Welcome to Dental Implants

Can you really implant happiness? Sometimes, a small piece of titanium can revitalize your smile and boost flagging self-confidence.Those who have one or more missing teeth may feel insecure and self-conscious, but there is a story behind every missing tooth: an accident or bad genes, perhaps, or maybe cavities or periodontitis are the cause of a gap. Whatever the reason, patients want to be able to chew properly, to experience reliable stability, to retain their healthy teeth and to feel attractive.

DENTAL IMPLANTS: an esthetic long-term solution

For over 30 years now, it has been possible to replace tooth roots almost entirely with dental implants. This modern dental-medical method has been scientifically tested and used for decades. Qualified dentists and oral surgeons are offering their patients this attractive long-term solution through dental implants. According to results of a survey carried out in Germany (Riegl) 3, 97 percent of patients questioned were happy with their dental implants.

The dental implants procedure is usually performed by a cosmetic dentist and is a method of replacing missing teeth. Dental implants are a method of implanting a tooth root within the bone of the jaw. The implant is made of titanium so they are very strong and durable. Dental implants look very real unlike dentures and bridges as they are placed directly into the root of the missing tooth. Almost all dental implants these days are called 'root-form endosseous implants' meaning that they look almost exactly like an actual tooth root. A titanium post is inserted into the jaw bone where the missing tooth was located. The titanium root actually fuses together with the bone. The major difference between dental implants and a real tooth is that they feel different when chewing because the implant does not have any periodontal ligaments.

Dental implants is used to support any of the following dental prostheses, namely crowns, implant-supported bridges or dentures. Dental implants can also be used as anchorage for orthodontic tooth movement. The use of dental implants permits undirectional tooth movement without reciprocal action.Laughing, kissing, singing and eating are carefree and natural. Enjoy life despite your missing teeth and say “yes” to dental implants
